A Denver native, Jeff has been on the move since graduating high school. Dawning his 'aloha shorts' and sunblock, he made the move to the University of Hawaii where he spent the first two years of his undergraduate studies, before returning to Colorado where he graduated from the University of Colorado with a degree in Broadcast Journalism.
While a student at CU, Jeff's interest in sports gained momentum when he interned in the public relations department of the Colorado Avalanche (NHL), and the Colorado Rapids (MLS). He combined his interests in sports and in television during his college years as well, interning with the Sports Guys at Denver's ABC affiliate (KMGH) and assisting Fox Sports Rocky Mountain during the Colorado Rockies 2007 World Series season.
After graduation, Jeff saw the culmination of both his television and sports experience come together when he joined the Public Relations Department of the Baltimore Ravens. Among his more memorable moments with the team came from his time hanging out with players like Ray Lewis, and working alongside some of the best personnel in sports during the team's run to the AFC Championship.
Jeff took the next step in his career by getting back to the side of sports he loves, television. Jeff started in TV as a news/legislative reporter in Cheyenne, Wy, where he shot, edited, and wrote his own stories. From there, Jeff moved to the sports side of television when he took a job as a sports reporter/anchor in College Station/Waco, TX where he shot, edited, reported, and anchored all facets of Big 12 sports, and Friday Night Lights in Texas.
Currently, Jeff is a sports reporter in Tulsa, Oklahoma covering OU, OSU and Tulsa sports. He can confirm that the stereotypes about Oklahoma being flat for miles are not entirely true! He is enjoying life in the hills and being back in chillier weather!
